St Elizabeth's Hall
Hambrook Village Hall.
Hambrook Lane, South Gloucestershire, BS16 1RT.
Telephone 0117 9561455.
At the centre of the village, on the junction of Hambrook Lane and the Old Gloucester Road, opposite the side of The Crown Pub.
This original village meeting hall is small but beautifully quaint, and is on the opposite side of the Old Gloucester Road from the Crown Pub, on the corner of the junction with Hambrook Lane.
The classes will be through the door to the right, after you enter the main door. The hall has a wooden sprung floor, a kitchenette, over head fans, heaters, and large windows flooding it with light. Basic, but always spotlessly clean and well maintained, this hall has a very homely feel to it. There is a toilet straight ahead as you enter through the main door.
There is no car park at the hall - you will need to park along the road on Hambrook Lane, or you could try the pub car park as well, and walk across the road from there.
On the B4058 (the Bristol Road) coming from Winterbourne, turn right on the bend at the Crown Pub, and the hall is on the left. On the B4058 coming from the ring road / M32, M4 / Hambrook traffic lights, go straight across on the bend by the Crown Pub (you will need to indicate left), and the hall is on the left. On the Old Gloucester Road, coming from the Winterbourne Road (B4057), the hall is on the right hand side, just before you approach the junction of the B4058.
